The location of the Hotel Kronio is excellent -- it's easy to find, and is a short and pleasant walk to the Olympic site and all the town's amenities. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view. The hotel has parking, in a shaded orange grove, which was fantastic in spring (we were there in late March). The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, with superb English, providing a map of the town and recommendations for dinner (Taverna Orestis), which we followed and were very pleased with. The buffet-style breakfast was good, and extra items (e.g., hot chocolate for the younger members of the party) were offered (and accepted). The hotel kept our bags safe between us checking out and leaving, and we would definitely book Hotel Kronio for a return trip.

We liked Hotel Kronio the moment we walked in. The owner was very welcoming and congenial. He gave us a recommendation for an excellent nearby taverna (Orestis - safe for celiacs, too if you tell the owner you're gluten-free), told us about an app that we can download about Olympia's archeological site, and even lent us a guide book. The next day when we checked out, he asked us what our next destination was (Nauplio), and took the time to recommended a route and sites to see along the way. The room fit four of us comfortably and the documentary about the site was a nice touch. Hotel Kronio is just steps away from the Olympia archeological site and museum and has a very nice breakfast with a lot of options in a pleasant dining room.

Location is right at the beginning of the pedestrian zone (less than 10 minutes walk to the gates of the ancient site), easy to find opposite of the church, parking place for guests. Spacious and comfortable rooms (one had a silent fridge), furnitured balconies, quiet and very clean. Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

The check in process was very easy and the concierge / proprietor was friendly and informative. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and found this to be one of my best experiences despite our short stay.

Very clean room and building. Staff is very friendly. Perfect location in the middle of the beautiful town. Off street parking next to building.

The room was nice even if it felt a little outdated and had all the needed essentials. The breakfast was very well thought of and everything was very fresh and tasty. It's a 3 star hotel. You get exactly what you pay for.

Great comfortable beds and nice size bathroom with a table and 2 chairs on the balcony. Breakfast had a variety of items such as yogurt, honey, marmalades, hard boiled eggs, cheese and ham slices, juice, cereal, milk and various savory and sweet pastries along with coffee and/or tea. There was also a bowl of fresh apples and pears. The hotel is within walking distance of the museums and Ancient Olympic sites as well - extremely handy. Tavernas and gelaterias are within easy walking distance.

Hotel Kronio was right in the heart of the town so we could walk everywhere. The facilities were squeaky clean and breakfast was served with love. The owner was so kind and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

What an unexpected surprise! Hotel Kronos far exceeded my expectations for any stay. The hotel owner is extremely kind and really cares that his guests not only enjoy their stay at his hotel but at the archeological sites. His recommendations are spot on, listen to them!

The location was superb, just off the Main Street and only 100 metres from the entrance to the Olympic site. The owner was a great host recommending a great place to eat and brought coffee to our room
